What 2017 Holds for Love, Libby xx

When I started this blog, I was so so in the zone. It's no secret, that over the last few months all I have done is lack motivation and put things off. I have lost count of the amount of times I've written the words "feels like I've not posted in ages but no drama, i'm back now"... To then not post for 2 weeks.

I sat myself down in October to "sort this out", make a new schedule, have a new strategy etc... Being honest though, I wanted to wait until January to have a completely fresh start. Because I knew, otherwise, I wouldn't stick to it.

Since May, the Love, Libby xx blog has grown more then I thought it ever would. I have connected with other lovely bloggers and have gained so many new and lovely readers. I always assumed this little spot on the internet would just be something I did for me, not something people would actually read! Honestly, it's quite surreal to know people actually read what I have to say enough, that they then can comment on it themselves! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for reading and returning to my little blog and making it what it is.

So whats coming in 2017?

Revamp

I changed my layout and header countless times in 2016. I'm finally ready to go with something I'll stick too. So I think in February, I'll be looking for someone to properly design me a header & button. Then looking into the best sites for Blogger templates. Feel free to leave your recommendations in the comments!

Scheduling
It's time I went back to basics and scheduled again, posts, tweets the lot. I just feel it keeps me organised and 1000% more on track this way, Plus, now I've said it like this, I have to stick to it.

TMI Tuesday
1x these posts a month, so basically, the third Tuesday of every month. Weather this be a Q&A post or just a post that discusses a subject in more detail e.g. sex/periods/whatever you'd like to suggest. It's something I've been thinking about delving into for a while now, and really, why not? Time to talk about subjects that really matter, that effect both myself and everyone else. You may get a few random "tag" post's through the month, but they won't be labelled "TMI Tuesday". *January's post will be a repost of something I wrote when I first started this blog, but falls at the appropriate time of year*.

Face Mask Friday
There will be 2x these posts a month, the second and fourth Friday of the month. Who doesn't love a face mask? Clearly, I do and have posted about quite a few of them on this blog. So lets make it a series. Plus, now I have an excuse to buy more. Mwahahaha. Sorry mum.

More makeup reviews

In the beginning, this was only ever going to be a place to review different products but in the last few months I've done that less and less. Time to go back to what I love and open my makeup filled draws again. It's about time!

Advertising
A new feature to the blog side bar will be advertising! With 3 packages to chose from, varying little in price, your blog will be advertised on mine, for a month at a time. Currently undecided which month this will begin, but its 100% coming.

  3. I adore the Face Mask Friday idea. I may steal this and start doing this too as I always forget to do a face mask each week and before I know it two weeks have passed without me doing one. I may not review every single one but I think I will have a face mask each Friday now. I love face masks so can't wait to read about which ones you are using too. 🎀💜💫✨

  9. I love how you have decided types of posts to upload regularly! TMI Tuesday sounds really interesting! I almost started to offer advertising on my blog last year but I caved last minute because I wasn't sure I could do it! Good luck with your goals this year!
